Meanwhile, the living world bears the consequences of a model that often prioritizes consumption and short-term results: pollution, waste and resource depletion.
Yet a large part of the solutions already exist.
People want to help. Organizations work every day to create change. Businesses seek to have a positive impact.
But turning those intentions into lasting results remains hard.
Our current systems are often complex, disorganized and shaped by individual, financial or political interests that can sometimes override the common good.
The pursuit of power, profit or personal advantage can pull certain decisions away from their original goal: improving people's lives and protecting our future.
The problem is not that humanity lacks good intentions.
The problem is that we need better systems to turn those intentions into effective, responsible and lasting action.
2. The spark: why BetterWorld exists
BetterWorld was born from a simple idea:
To make the world better for everyone.
We believe deeply in humanity's potential.
Every day, people choose to help, to protect and to build something better. But too often, their impact stays limited by a lack of tools, resources, visibility or suitable structures.
The information exists, but it is scattered.
The solutions exist, but they are sometimes hard to find.
The people ready to act exist, but they often lack a clear path to turn their will into real impact.
So one question became obvious:
Why don't those who want to improve the world have the means to do it at scale?
We need more than temporary answers to today's problems.
We need structures able to build autonomy, reduce inequality and create lasting solutions.
BetterWorld exists to develop that capacity to act.
We want to bring together knowledge, resources, people and projects to create a positive force able to act on social, economic and environmental challenges.

3. The new possibility: BetterWorld's mission
We believe that improving the world does not rest on a single organization, a single leader or a single solution.
Change begins when individuals have the knowledge, resources and tools they need to act.
BetterWorld is not here to save the world in place of others.
We are here to give people the capacity to take part in building it.
Our role is to make help more accessible, solutions easier to find and positive action easier to take.
Through our content, resources, tools and projects, we are building an ecosystem that lets everyone:

- build their autonomy;
- contribute to a better future.

Our goal: make essential knowledge accessible to as many people as possible.

Through mutual aid, knowledge sharing and local initiatives, we want to create a community where everyone can contribute according to their ability.
Because a movement becomes powerful when individuals stop being isolated and move forward together.

Everyone has a place in the movement.
BetterWorld is a private company with a social purpose, registered in Québec (NEQ 2281941809). It is neither a non-profit nor a registered charity: we cannot issue tax receipts. This status lets us build fast, without depending on grants, and we publish where every dollar goes so it stays verifiable.
My vision for BetterWorld

For me, BetterWorld is not simply a company. It is a movement.
A movement built on one simple conviction: the world can become better if everyone is given the means to act.
I want to build an organization able to evolve with the world's needs. That is one of the reasons BetterWorld is not an NGO. Its goal is not to stay locked inside a single model, but to keep developing new ways of having an impact.
If a better solution exists tomorrow to help people or protect the planet, BetterWorld must be able to adopt it.
I do not want to create a company that only seeks to generate profit. I want to build an organization that maximizes its impact. Because in my view, BetterWorld's potential has no limit. And as long as there are problems left to solve, BetterWorld will keep evolving to help solve them.
