Where your money goes
This page reports on our commitment: what BetterWorld receives in contributions, what it gives to organizations, and the proof of each payment.

BetterWorld is a private company with a social purpose, not a registered charity. We cannot issue tax receipts. You support BetterWorld. For contributions made for organizations, BetterWorld commits to give at least 85% of them, and no payment is published here without its proof.
Our commitment
Your contribution is paid to BetterWorld and becomes its revenue. For a contribution made for organizations, we make this commitment:
- 85% at least, given to organizationsWe choose the organizations. What you tell us guides our choices, without assigning your contribution to a specific cause. Calculated on the gross amount: payment fees are ours to cover.
- 15% at most, to keep BetterWorld runningThe tools, the website, payment fees, and the income of the person behind BetterWorld. We would rather say it than leave you guessing.
A contribution made for BetterWorld's mission goes to BetterWorld in full: it is not part of this commitment, and the donation page says so before payment.

Period: 2026
Every contribution is BetterWorld revenue. The giving commitment is calculated on the gross amount of contributions made for organizations, and what remains to be given is shown above.
The only contribution received to date is an internal test of the payment process.
Transfers
One line per transfer, with its proof. Each line has a stable link.
Beyond the commitment
$0.00 given from BetterWorld's other revenue, such as the shop, on top of the commitment on contributions.
Commitments in progress
Commercial promises we made, and where they stand.
No commercial commitment in progress.
How we select organizations
We only fund an organization whose legal existence can be verified: official registration number, active address and website, documented activity. We check that number against the registry of its home country before any payment, and we record the verification date. We rule out any organization that refuses to provide proof of receipt, publishes no activity report, or whose mission conflicts with fundamental rights. What contributors tell us they care about guides our choices without binding them. The final decision rests with BetterWorld's management; it is published here with its date.
Check for yourself
You don't have to take our word for it. Here is where to check.
As soon as an organization is funded, its legal name, registration number and official record will appear here.
Our operating rules
- The giving commitment is calculated on every contribution received for organizations, and what remains to be given is published here.
- Our commitment is announced before you contribute, never discovered afterwards.
- Every payment will be published here with its proof, within 30 days of being made.
- No impact figure is published without its source and method.
- No contributor name is ever published.
